New Here?

If you are looking for a Church where the Word of God is central, the Gospel is believed and shared, and the fellowship is authentic, we would love for you to visit us and find a place where you can grow and serve. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, what matters is who God is creating you to be and where He is taking you.

We believe that the Church is the people that God has called to Himself through faith in Jesus Christ and that God sanctifies those people, conforming them to the image of Christ by the “Ordinary Means of Grace”: the preaching and teaching of the Word, prayer, the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and fellowship with fellow believers. We are not about a show or a program or entertainment. We are dedicated to those God-given, God-ordained, Holy-Spirit-filled, Christ-exalting means of grace as we gather to worship Him together as His Spiritual family.

FAQ

Have questions? We have the answers!

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH ARE WE?

We are a newly planted PCA Church in the Dublin area. We are committed to the Scriptures, the Great Commission, and the Historic Reformed Faith, emphasizing expository preaching, prayer, and the sacraments, desiring Gospel-centered worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, service, and diversity.

How long is the service?

Our worship services typically last around an hour and fifteen minutes (10:45 AM to 12:00 PM)

For our Wednesday evening prayer & Bible study, we typically eat, fellowship, and pray for about 30 minutes (6:00 to 6:30 PM) and then do Bible Study for around 45 minutes with plenty of group discussion and interaction (6:30 to7:15 PM).

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
  1. We have a fairly wide range of people with a wide range of dress, from tie to t-shirt.
  2. Most people will probably dress business casual.
  3. You are welcome to come as you are with the only requests being modesty and appropriateness for reverential worship of our Holy God.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

When you arrive you can expect to be greeted with warm smiles and an open door. Services begin promptly and there are ushers willing to help you find what you need and answer any questions you might have.

WHAT IS A SERVICE LIKE?
  1. Our service is built around the ordinary means of grace as described in Scripture including Prayer, Reading of the Word, Confession of Faith, Worship through Song, Preaching of the Word, and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
  2. For a more detailed explanation of the elements of the worship service, click this link
  3. We love to sing! We try to incorporate various styles of music for worship, both old and new, with homage paid to the great hymns that have stood the test of history. We also love to sing the Psalms as a God-breathed book of songs for His people … Consider this: the Book of Psalms was Jesus’ “Hymn Book”.
  4. Our preaching strives to be expositional, book-by-book, verse-by-verse, based on sound exegesis of the Scripture, with attention given to the original languages. We strive for the message of the sermon to be driven by the message of the Scripture passage itself based in the grammar and the historical context. And, we strive to faithfully preach Christ and the Gospel as the center of the Scriptures and as the central message to which all others point. In our sermons the preacher does not seek the spotlight, but rather strives to serve as a spotlight shining on the Word – Scripture should be the star of the show.
HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?

We are all about connecting with God and each other. There are four main ways to get connected: Attend a service, Join Us For A Fellowship Meal, Join a Small Group and Volunteer. If you haven’t already, take the first step and simply join us for a service.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
  1. We have a nursery and kids area in the big room adjacent to our worship area.
  2. Our kids are taught using various Bible-Based Curriculums including those listed below:
  3. New City Catechism Curriculum:https://cdn.iframe.ly/api/iframe?app=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fnewcitycatechism.com%2Fbooks%2Fcurriculum%2F&key=06009e92ad630c934661efab33d36227. This curriculum teaches core doctrines of the faith in memorable question and answer format, along with supporting Scriptures, prayer, songs, lessons, and activities. There is also a very handy (free!) app that parents can use at home with their kids to help reinforce what they are learning. By the way, this is great for adults too!

  6. One Story Ministries Curriculum: https://www.onestoryministries.org/default.asp. Investigating God’s Word from “In the beginning…” to “… AMEN”. This curriculum is all about going through the whole Bible verse-by-verse, demonstrating all of its various parts as contributing to “One Story” that is Christ-Centered and Gospel-Driven.
  7. You are also welcome to bring your kids to worship with you in the main service. We would especially encourage this for children who are old enough to participate meaningfully (at as early of an age as possible using your own wisdom and discretion). You are also free to have children participate in some parts of the service and then take them to the kids area for the rest of the service.
