Wednesday Night Prayer & Bible Study

We meet every Wednesday evening, 6:00 – 7:15 PM, for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study. The first part of our time together is devoted to sharing a meal, fellowship, and praying for one another, our Church, our community, and the world. The second part of our time is devoted to studying Scripture.

Plans for Bible Study in 2023 include:

  1. Men’s Bible Study on what it means to be a leader in the Church – Church Officer Training.
  2. Women’s Bible Study on the Ten Commandments and their relevance in our lives today and in all times and places: “Ten Words To Live By” by Jen Wilkin.
  3. Paul’s letter to the Romans (aka The King of the Eipistles) – the book of the Bible that puts it all together, a book that John Calvin called the “entrance … to all the most hidden treasures of Scripture”.
  4. A study going through the systematic theology of the Westminster Confession of Faith (1646) – Used by millions of Christians worldwide, the Westminster Confession of Faith (or WCF for short) is considered by many to be the most excellent, thorough, accurate, and eloquent summary of Scripture the Church has ever produced. Using this historic Reformed confession of faith as the basic Constitution of our Church helps keep the doctrine of the Church and our own hearts in line with true historic, Biblical Christianity.
